How to repel pigeons with small electric shocks ?
Small pigeons on house parapets are a nuisance. I want to get rid of them, not kill them. Please suggest some remedy.
When I lived in Houston, I had occasion to be at the Federal Courthouse and noticed rubber snakes in the ledges of the windows of the building. When asking someone why, I was told that pigeons were a tremendous problem and that they had placed them there for years as a deterent. I tried this on one side of our house at one time when a male bird kept attacking his reflection in the window and it seemed to work pretty good. He kept his distance and just flapped and squawked at himself then finally left it alone.

Check out Absolute Bird Control – they have tons of humane bird control products that can help. I would look at their bird spikes, these are a humane way to keep pigeons off the parapet and are easy to install. Best of all – the spikes come pre-assembled and are easy to install. http://www.absolutebirdcontrol.com
