Q&A: Is it safe to do a roach fogger in a car?
Question by a person: Is it safe to do a roach fogger in a car?
Can I set off one of those roach bomb/foggers in my car safely?
The can doesn't specify "not for use in automobiles" it says for indoor use. Will it make a mess?
To anyone calling me nasty, you can kiss a s s . I have 2 kids, and they eat candy. I found a sucker and some gooey wrappers, and saw a couple small roaches. I just wanted to know if I could bomb in case there were more.

ew you have roaches in your car?! How dirty is it anyway!? I would think if it's ok to use in the house, it'd be ok in the car too. It won't make a mess, but I'd wash the seats real well afterward.

If you have roaches in your vehicle, you’re just nasty. I’d sell the car first. The chemicals in a fogger cannot be good for you, especially in the concentration they would be in in such a confined space.

yes yes
sicckkkkkk. DO NOT PUT THAT SHIT IN YOUR CAR! Over exposure could harm you!
buy a new car,
Cheers!
that’s a no-no.
instead,use COMBAT,roach killer gel.
it come in an applicator tube, one little drop here ,one little drop there.(never in the areas of hand traffic)
home depot has it.
BINGO!!!!
trust me on this one!!!
Big mess. Too much spray. Will coat the windows, the seats and everything else with a greasy mess. Spray some roach spray on the floors and under the seats. Next day air out the car and remove the little critters kicking the air. Gross, but it will get rid of them.
So you’re the one! The one that has made every product in America come covered in warnings about every possible stupid thing that could be done.
Use some common sense just because it doesn’t say you can’t do it doesn’t mean that you can. I can hear the lawsuit now, “your honor the can did not say anything about not setting it off in a car, but when I did it ruined the interior of my car. Now the bug bomb company owes me a new car and a million dollars for my stress.”
Insect bombs come in different sizes. If you’re gonna do this select the smallest size. But read the instructions. Some chemicals can harm certain materials. It may be harmful to your dash or seats. If you do use it, open all doors for a few hours to let the car air out after wards. An alternative to the bug bomb might be an insect spray. A product called Bengal is very effective against roaches and other insects and it lasts a long time which will kill any new infestation from eggs that hatch later.
