How to track Carpenter Ant Trails and see where they nest.
Tracking carpenter ants can help identify nest locations so you can directly treat them for fast control. Carpenter ants will commonly have several nest sites and if you watch them foraging you can almost always find key locations that will need treatment. Remember, an active ant is either walking away or back to a nest so there is at least a 50% chance watching it will provide valuable information.

Hopefully they haven’t already setup shop on the inside. Once we found the nest on the outside and cut that off, we discovered that they had a nest in the house also. Thsat is when it got real interesting.
thanks man actually we found how they are getting into the house so we are getting a new guy to find the nest. so its probably safe to say the worst is over =)
A dead ant is a good ant, in your home of course. Find yourself someone who is an expert with Termidor and have them inspect and treat your home with it inside and out. It can take a couple of weeks to get rid of them all but this stuff is awesome. Once they are gone they will stay gone for good if you treat quarterly as recommended.
k part 2 we hired an exterminator to try and fix this damn problem but all he does is put bait out on the outside and hope they take it and it kills the nest. he has been doing this 4 maybe 3 or 4 months and it hasnt been doing shit. my house is 40+ years old and maybe 65% is wood HELP PLEASE!!!
k i have the same problem except these little bastards im guessing have a nest maybe inside the walls of my house or maybe they are coming out of the outlets idk? i find them in big groups usually in groups of 10-20 BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS DEAD!!! i live in florida and it rains here alot and these little bastards love to keep dry so they literally all move in to the house. last night i left a lamp light on, next morning there had to be at least 50-60 of them since they are attracted to the light
